I started drawing when I was about four years old, under the table, and once, on the wall. On paper I found a way to explore the world and what I was capable of. It helped me survive.
I love the relationship that develops between me and the work. It's often a struggle, but eventually, I'm compelled to complete it to tell it's story. For me, putting the colors, the lines and the shapes in place is like arranging the words for a poem. It's really a living thing.
Art is a path of consciousness.
